The Froyo version of the Android, in contrast to Google's original Android, will work with much more than just cell phones. Faster processing and Flash support are rumored to be part of the new Froyo update, and an additional update, Gingerbread, is already on the horizon. Google is planning quite the buffet of Android.

Flash featured by Google Froyo
Google Froyo phones will support Flash 10.1 when Apple refuses still to have it on iPhones. There are concerns that Froyo’s Flash support may use extensive battery power, and the feature is creating quite a bit of buzz. Sure, Flash could be used for getting work done, but a lot more exciting is that app developers can now use the Google Android 2.2/Froyo platform to create games. Froyo isn't good enough for Hulu
The multi channel TV service, Hulu, doesn't appear to be playing nice with Froyo. Because of content support issues, the Flash 10.1 support on Froyo phones won't include Hulu. Hulu will work with Google TV though, which could be running on a Froyo system, according to the announcement at the Google I/O conference.
Faster, smoother, prettier Froyo
Flash won't be the only thing updated on the Froyo phone. With a faster operating system, the Android 2.2 could have a smoother browsing experience. Froyo may also allow users to transfer the apps they download to their MicroSD card – removing the necessity of downloading them multiple times when you purchase a new handset.
Froyo to melt in Winter
Froyo, as an Android operating system, could be available for download and updates in just a few weeks. You probably shouldn't get too comfortable with that operating system of course. Gingerbread, or version 2.3, could be released in the fourth quarter of 2010. Froyo will only be the system you use in the summer months.
