Dry Max Diapers Under Scrutiny – No Pampers Recall Yet

No Pampers Recall Yet - Dry Max Diapers Under Scrutiny

Proctor and Gamble is reeling during today’s stock market crash, and spirits will sag further yet if there is a Pampers recall. Parents do not care quite as much about whether somebody on Wall Street made a typo when recording a large Proctor and Gamble trade (sending investors scrambling for cheap payday loans) as they do about whether Pampers Dry Max diapers are causing their kid to get diaper rash.

In the works is pampers recall

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is presently investigating Proctor and Gamble's Pampers Dry Max Diapers. You will find complaints the diapers are causing rashes also as chemical burns around children's pelvic areas. Pampers has dismissed the investigation so far, saying that “It’s one severe rash complaint for each 6 million diaper changes”. At this writing, there is no Pampers recall in effect. Consumers who are, nevertheless, concerned about the safety of Dry Max diapers are urged to contact the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission toll-free at (800) 638-2772.

A mom and her Papers woe tale

Caroline of Spartanburg, South Carolina, happens to be one of a long list of moms who have had recent issues with Pampers diapers. Until her 22 month old and 5 month old started showing heavy rashes, she used Pampers with no problem. After she tried many creams and saw her kids entirely change (pain does that), Caroline was fed up. Once the rashes took a turn for the worse and became what she describes as “huge, scabby blisters,” she found that numerous other parents had logged complaints online about Pampers diapers. Carolina returned to her Sam's Club and got a different brand of diaper. Many parents, just like her, took comparable precautions as outlined by the Consumer Affairs site, which leads to speculation as to whether there are scores a lot more parents whose children are suffering under what could very easily warrant a Pampers recall.
