The story has remained somewhat dormant. Recently, Favre was asked about the rumors in a press conference about the upcoming game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets. The pictures in question were allegedly sent while Favre had been a member of the Jets.

Recently, the question of whether Brett Favre sent Jenn Sterger pics had been brought up at a press conference, as outlined by the Huffington Post. The answer Favre gave had been that his only focus right now had been preparing for the upcoming game he has against his previous team. The Jets liked having Favre on the team previously. They got off to a good start because of it. Halfway via the season, he injured his throwing arm, which led to a rapid decline. The Jets employed Sterger as a sports reporter. This was the exact same time that Favre was quarterback for the Jets.
Favre rumors spread faster with Deadspin
The rumors started to get a lot of talk again because of Deadspin. The photos of the affair were placed on the site for everyone to see. The new York Daily News reports the text messages sent to Sterger from Favre contained these photos which were published on the site. Brett’s wife of a long time ago, Deanna Favre, looks an awful lot like Jenn Sterger, which numerous bring up. According to Sterger, the 20 year old NFL veteran is married and too old for her taste. That makes him entirely uninteresting to her. The likelihood of Favre suing Deadspin seems minimal.

Favre’s nude photo rumor isn’t really the first. There have been other stories of nude photos being sent from athletes. However, it is a potential scandal for one of the most beloved and prolific quarterbacks of all time. Neither Favre nor Sterger seems interested in pursuing the matter.
