September 20 is when you can begin to join season 11 of Dancing With the Stars on TV with the already introduced cast list. The announcement came just a week ago in a media leak explaining that Brandy, Audrina Patridge, David Hasselhoff, “The Situation” and Bristol Palin would all be on the show. NJ.com got the scoop and explained who else was invited to the show. There is Margaret Cho who’s a standup comedienne, Florence Henderson from the “Brady Bunch” show, Rick Fox who is married to Vanessa Williams, Michael Bolton who is on and off with Nocollette Sheridan and Jennifer Grey who’s “Baby” on the movie “Dirty Dancing”. Jennifer Grey is a shoe in to win this year of Dancing With the Stars. Dancing With the Stars could be the reason her life was saved.
Auto incident with Jennifer Grey
Jennifer Grey thought she’d never get the chance to dance again after a car accident she was in years ago. Grey talked to Zap2It. She explained that she talked to a neurological spine surgeon since she was having really bad pain in her neck. She really wanted to opportunity of being on DWTS. This is what motivated her for making an appointment with the surgeon she heard had worked on dancer Karina Smirnoff.
Grey had never had the right treatment for the incident that tore ligaments in her neck. The condition then degenerated. Grey’s spinal cord was compressed, as outlined by the surgeon. Grey would be permanently paralyzed with any minor shift from a blow. So Grey had her neck fused. The doctor told her that she needed to remove a benign nodule.
Jennifer Grey has no cancer but a new neck
”Dancing with the Stars” will gladly take her. She will do well. Jennifer Grey only went via treatment for the show. That is how DWTS saved her life.
“I was so frightened of the surgery, I didn’t want to even consider that it would be successful. And it was so successful, I proceeded to do everything else on my ‘to-do’ list that I was afraid of, including doing this show,” Zap2It heard from Grey. “I figure that if I don’t do it now, I’ll be too old for it. My body is clearly giving out.”
