Bishop Long scandal erupts in Georgia

Georgia is starting to be more concerned about the Bishop Long scandal going on. Child abuse and money laundering is what the Vatican if being charged with. Much talked about ministers are in trouble for inappropriate conduct at present as well. The Evangelical mega church run by Bishop Long has over 24,000 members and is in Lithonia, Ga.. He developed, supposedly, inappropriate relationships. These were all with young men in his congregation. Eddie Long wrongdoing accusations

Teenage boys within the Bishop Long congregation have been abused by Eddie Long supposedly. Inappropriate relationships were made. Maurice Robinson and Anthony Flagg filed separate lawsuits against him. The lawsuits accuse Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion, according to ABC. The two bots had troubled backgrounds and disadvantaged youths. The brand new Birth Missionary Baptist Church gave aid to them both. Bishop Long, according to the suit, solicited favors as the spiritual advisor and benefactor of the church. More than $1,000 in property was stolen from Long’s office by Robinson lately.

Long says it didn’t happen

Eddie Long denies that anything inappropriate happened. His attorneys say this as well. Long’s attorney described the lawsuit as an attempted shakedown, according to CNN. Anti-homosexual has been Long’s stance for a when. That shakes things up. He was part of a same sex marriage protest, states the Southern Poverty Law Center. This is why numerous think about him to be an extreme homophobe. There is lots of support from the congregation. Nobody believes the allegations.
