Jerseys of Seahawks Marshawn Lynch ought to be hot commodity

There have been a lot of highlights in the Seahawks/Saints game on Jan. 8th. One of them was the enormous run by Marshawn Lynch. Lynch blasted through the defense and left them ruined in his path towards a touchdown. Lynch jerseys should soon be worth their weight in gold. Some might go as far as getting a payday loan just to get their hands on one of these shirts.

Marshawn Lynch part of Seattle Saint relic project

The Seattle lost two draft picks when Marshawn Lynch was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Seattle Seahawks. It appears to have paid off. In playoffs, during the wild card round, St. Louis and Seattle will be playing one another. This makes the Seahawks one of the few teams with a losing record to ever beat the Saints. The Seahawks schedule was for a match against the New Orleans Saints, and the odds were so stacked against the Seahawks that even the most loyal fans were prepared for a loss. The Seahawks handed the Saints a 41 – 36 loss at Qwest Field. All of that was earned by the team.

Then there was The Run used

The Seahawks blog states that a play called "The Run" was used when Lynch got the ball on the 33 yard line in Saints' territory just to get a few yards. "Beast Mode" was what he instead went into. That meant that the six or more defenders trying to bring him down couldn't do so. He also delivered a bone-rattling stiff arm to the Saints’ Tracy Porter, knocking him to the ground. The Bears will be played by the Seahawks in Chicago now. This is the division round coming on. There should probably be some Marshawn Lynch Seahawks jerseys on sale. They will sell like crazy. The Seattle PI spoke about the small earthquake that was registered by the Twelfth Man. That is the crowd at Qwest.

The other Northwest sporting news stories

There has also been other news in the Northwest. This is about college sports though. There is more than just the big BCS Bowl Championship going on with the Oregon Ducks versus the Auburn Tigers. This includes a smaller school. In the FCS Championship game though, the small Division I Easter Washington University Eagles were able to beat the Delaware Blue Hens. Nobody though it would be possible for the Eagles to win this one. In the end, victory was shown while Vice President Joe Biden watched.

BEAST MODE!
