Eye strain might be a real concern of the Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo has pre-empted a potential problem with the 3DS system – even just before the Nintendo 3DS release date. The eye strain problem with the 3DS system has a possibility of stunting eye development. This eye tension problem is not unique to the 3DS system, but Nintendo is the first company to attack it head-on.

Getting an eye tension with the Nintendo 3DS

The possibility of eye strain was what Nintendo warned about with the 3DS that is out. It says 3-D systems, speciffically when viewed for long periods of time, can cause everything from dizziness, seizures and nausea. Additionally, in small kids long-time use of 3-D systems could actually stunt eye advancement. For a long time, the brain focuses on two different images by force. Soon, the ability to look at one image with the correct depth perception is lost.

Suggestions for dealing with Nintendo 3DS eye strain

When the Nintendo 3DS release date hits within the United States, Nintendo has several recommendations for parents. It is suggested that kids not be allowed to play the 3DS for more than an hour each day. Also, there ought to be breaks every 30 minutes. The 3D function can be password protected with the 3DS also. There have been warnings not watch 3D images for too long for those who have eye problems or are intoxicated by the medical industry.

Is the Nintendo 3DS eye tension a device killer?

The $300 machine might not sell as well with the warning about the 3DS eye strain issue coming out before the device is even released. The Nintendo warning may be good for marketing though, according to public relations consultants. Many 3-D television manufacturers do issue warnings about extended viewing of their merchandise; however the warnings are buried in the user’s guides to the TVs. Do you think the Nintendo 3DS eye tension warning is going to kill revenue, or will it continue to improve the revenue of Nintendo products?
